Just came back from NTU's 50th anniversary celebrations! =) hee, still a bit high now.. Prime Minister was the guest of honour for this event and the head of the MOE came too.. sorry, can't really spell his name >.<

NTU String Orchestra performed along with the choir and I must say the whole performance was a success! Spent about 2 weeks on the song called "one voice" and performed for about 2.5 mins.. ha ha.. After our performance, I stayed back to watch the laser display for the opening of my school = School of Biological Sciences. Laser display, plus a few stuntsman coming down from the roof of the building to pull down huge banners, AND FIREWORKS =) Yap, they were just right above me =) though it didn't last very long, they were still rather spectacular! I was really proud to be a SBS student.. some stranger commented to me in the lift that my school has wonderful facilities. Hee. =)

F.I.R's live performance was simply wonderful! I was standing rather close to the stage and manage to see the trio for real instead of the screen. Faye is really pretty and Ah Xing is very very very handsome and cool! Oops, don't know the keyboardist name, but he reminded me of Zhou Chuan Xiong. Watched the concert with Teng How and Li Huang. =) oh ya, did I mention that I saw Rui An, Diana Ser and Joanne Peh too?? And I can swear that PM Lee Hsien Loong smiled me when he walked past the ensemble!!! I grinned back. =P

Glad to be part of the whole event =) managed to make a new friend as well..

For the first time in my life, I tried studio recording, solo on my violin.

And for the first time in my life, I really felt like a loser. The technician guy guarantees that he can correct all the off tune mistakes.

It's perfectly ok to embarrass myself in front of 3 guys. But I was representing the club. And any mistakes I made seemed to embarass my club.

Argh..

Courage and determination.

These 2 factors are damn important when it comes to decision making. I made an important decision today and actually put it into action. Going to undertake a secret project of mine and I'm keeping all my fingers tightly crossed that it will all turn out fine =)

Must thank my bf for giving me encourage whenever I need it.

OOPs... think i spent too much time playing last week >.<

Actually went to 3 birthday parties. My poor pocket...

The first one was my JC's classmate Zhiwei's party. That guy booked the largest room which Kbox, Lot 1 has to offer plus 2 separate rooms for his family. Zhiwei actually invited around 50 people and the whole place was rather packed. Come to think of it, I don't think i have 50 friends. Hmmm... The party was ok, but I think there's too many people and there's only 4 microphones...

The second one is a simple dinner at Bugis Junction. It was Zhengsheng's birthday on the 12th. Too bad only 4 of us, including the birthday himself can make it. We ate at a restaurant called Barnberry's and the dessert of the best of all! =) I had a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Paradise!

The third party was on Sunday, and it was my SPH's friend Shimei's. Out of the 3, hers is definitely the best, especially the decor. She booked the whole mu chuan and transformed it into a dreamland of pink and purple flowers. She even bought the utensils herself just to make sure everything fitted her " It's SO SHIMEI birthday party" theme. Yap, the paper plates are either pink or purple, and so are the forks. The serviettes are solely purple though. Needless to say, the drinks served at the party are also purplish. Even the guests, came dressed in purple or pink or had ribbons just to fit into the so-shimei theme =) Cheng Yao won the best dressed award! He had a fake mole drawn onto his chin. . .

Shimei's party was more a gathering for me. Managed to see and speak to many of the old TXYs like Xing Fang and Xinping, Zhongwei ah... Yong Kai... It's really very nice to see them again, though I must admit I'm not extremely close to them.. But... =)

Zhong wei sang at the party and how I love his voice!! =) After so many years... he can still sing damn well =)

I can feel myself changing..

Last time i used to go around trying to make friends with people whom give me a good feeling about them. Now I don't. There's a person whom i really tried hard to make friends with but... no matter how hard i crack my brain, i have difficulties trying to strike a conversation with that person. Serious. It was, and it is still damn hard. And it gets very tiring, especially when you know that person won't speak to you about things other than schoolwork.

And if i don't speak to that person, that person won't speak to me as well. Not even hi and bye.

I've tried to know the person better for more than 1 year . But the wall between us just seem unbreakable..

Oops... finally found some time to blog again. Been trying hard to juggle among Naruto, homework and my CCA. Yap, I just attended 2 violin practices. It felt good to sit with my friends and play music together. =) But I do wonder how much time I'm willing to spend on my violin, considering that school work is getting much much tougher. Hmmm.

Skin allergy is back again. I seriously wonder what triggers it. For now, I can only watch what I'm eating, if not, ermmm... avoid a lot of food ba. Haiz.

Went to Eski Bar with my boyfriend. It's the second bar I've ever entered. ( The first was Ice Cold Beer) It was really cold inside and all the waiters and waiteresses had winter clothings on. The waitress told us that it was 5 degrees inside the bar. But much to my amaze, most of the people inside the bar were just wearing their working attire, WITHOUT the jackets. Perhaps the beer was keeping them warm? My boyfriend ordered a Frozen Maguarita while he drank a glass of Whisky Soda. The menu was full of drinks with very fanciful and suggestive names, for eg, Blow Job. Max said that it was named that way because of the way to drink it. hahahah...oops. There's also drinks like Waterfall, Eski Blue.... Found my drink rather bitter. >.<

Guess it takes time to appreciate bitter things like that.
